An Aura protects a single session. Goals, streaks, and your journal turn those sessions into a practice. Over time that practice adds up.
Set a daily goal
Inside AuraLock’s Goals screen you can set a daily focus target. Two hours of protected time is a common example. Each day, a goal banner on the Home screen shows how you are tracking. When you meet the goal, AuraLock lets you know at the end of the session.
A goal gives your Auras direction. It is not a punishment system. It is a way to notice how the time you protect adds up.
Build a streak
Consecutive days of meeting your goal build a streak. AuraLock keeps streaks simple and honest. It reflects your real practice and forgives the occasional missed day.
Two kinds of streaks work together. The total-day streak counts consecutive days with any protected time. The goal streak counts consecutive days you met your daily goal.
When a real-life day threatens your streak, Streak Freeze protects one missed day. A single off day does not erase your progress.
Streaks work because they are visible and small. One more day is easy to imagine. A perfect month is harder to picture.
The Goals screen
The Goals screen brings these together. A daily goal editor lets you set and adjust your target. A focus score gives you a single 0–100 score combining active days, goal streaks, and consistency. Weekly insights show your active days, best session, and change versus last week. A goal streak banner shows how many days in a row you have met your goal. This Week stats cover your streak, best aura, week-over-week change, and total focus.
Achievements
AuraLock includes local, deterministic badges that mark milestones. A few examples: First Aura for completing your first focus session, Day One for your first hour of focus, On a Roll for a 3-day focus streak, Deep Diver for hitting your daily goal 5 times, Scribe for 10 journal entries, and Legend for a 30-day focus streak.
The badge grid always shows how to unlock the next badge and your progress toward it. A locked card reads as a next goal rather than a dead end.
When you earn a badge, AuraLock tells you at the end of a session. They are small acknowledgments that your practice is real.
Journal the moments
After a session, the Journal gives you a place to write a line or two. What you worked on, how it went, how you feel. You can attach a mood tag to each entry — Focused, Calm, Grateful, Energetic, Tired, Anxious, Proud — so over time you can look back and see how your focus days track against your energy.
A journal entry does not need to be profound. Writing one sentence closes the loop on the session and helps the practice stick. The Journal has its own writing streak and a daily reminder you can schedule, so reflection becomes a rhythm rather than something you have to remember to do.
Insights
The Insights screen shows your protected time as a weekly view. You can see hours guarded, your best rhythm, and the apps that were most present. There are no loud charts and no gamified pressure. It is a plain reflection of the time you gave to your work.
You can filter by today, week, or month. There is a focus activity heatmap and a goal calendar. You can learn your best focus hours. When you want, you can share today’s protected time as a simple card.
What matters
The tools point to the same thing. Goals give your focus direction. Streaks give it continuity. Journaling gives it meaning. Insights show your practice honestly. None of them judge you. They make your focus visible, and when you can see your progress, it is easier to keep building on it.
