Why AuraLock needs Android Accessibility permission and how to enable it.
What is Accessibility?
Android Accessibility services let apps interact with the user interface. AuraLock uses the service to detect when you open an app and to enforce your Aura boundaries.
Why does AuraLock need it?
Without Accessibility, AuraLock cannot detect when a restricted app is opened, show the Aura overlay to redirect your attention, or enforce the boundaries you have set.
How to enable
- Open Android Settings
- Go to Accessibility
- Find AuraLock in the list
- Toggle the switch to On
- Confirm the permission dialog
Steps may vary
Android settings vary by version and manufacturer. The exact path may differ slightly on your device.
What happens if disabled?
AuraLock cannot enforce your Aura boundaries, and restricted apps stay accessible.
How to verify
After enabling, run Guardian. It confirms that Accessibility is working correctly.
