Why AuraLock needs alarm permissions for reliable session timing and scheduling.
What are Alarms and Reminders?
Android alarm permissions let apps schedule precise wake-ups and reminders. AuraLock uses them for session timers and scheduled Auras.
Why does AuraLock need it?
Without alarm permissions, AuraLock cannot end your Aura at the moment the timer expires, trigger scheduled Auras at the exact time, or keep reliable timing in the background.
How to enable
- Open Android Settings
- Go to Apps → AuraLock
- Tap Permissions
- Find Alarms and reminders
- Set to Allow
Exact alarms
On Android 12+, you may need to grant "Schedule exact alarms" permission for precise timing.
What happens if disabled?
Timer accuracy may degrade, and scheduled Auras may not fire at the exact time you set.
