What are Alarms and Reminders?
Android alarm permissions let apps schedule precise wake-ups and reminders. AuraLock uses them for session timers, scheduled Auras, and AuraWake alarms.
Why does AuraLock need it?
Without alarm permissions, AuraLock cannot end your Aura at the moment the timer expires, trigger scheduled Auras at the exact time, or keep reliable timing in the background.
How to enable it on your phone
On Android 12 and newer this is a runtime permission, so Android usually shows a dialog when AuraLock first asks. If you dismissed it, or your phone hides the toggle, pick your device below for the exact path.
Alarms & Reminders
OptionalStarts and ends your Auras and AuraWake alarms exactly on time, even when the app is closed. On Android 12+ this is a runtime permission, so Android may show a dialog instead of a settings screen.
In AuraLock: open Settings → Permissions and tap this permission — the button reads “Allow”. It opens this exact screen on your phone.

Android 14 on MIUI shows a system dialog instead — AuraLock asks for it directly when you tap “Allow”.
