Use Aura schedules

Set up recurring Aura schedules and templates to build consistent focus routines — automatically. Learn every option, from days and times to snooze and skip.

Scheduling turns focus into a rhythm. You can set your Deep Work Aura to start every weekday morning, or your evening Aura to activate at bedtime, automatically, with the same boundary every time.

Creating a schedule

  1. Open an existing Aura or create a new one
  2. Tap the schedule option
  3. Set the start and end times
  4. Select the days of the week
  5. Choose automatic start or confirmation
  6. Save the schedule

Free plan limit

The free plan allows up to 2 automatic schedules. AuraLock Pro unlocks unlimited schedules, which is enough to run different Auras for work mornings, evening wind-down, and weekend personal time all at once.

Use a schedule template

Instead of building a schedule from scratch, pick a template and adjust the times:

  • Weekdays 9–5 — Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, a protected workday
  • Deep Work Mornings — Mon–Fri, 7:00–10:00 AM
  • Evening Wind-Down — every day, 8:00–10:30 PM
  • Weekend Deep Work — Sat–Sun, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

Templates give you a working starting point in one tap. You can rename the Aura, change the times, or swap the days afterward.

Automatic vs confirmation

Automatic start

Your Aura begins at the scheduled time without prompting. This works best for established routines you want to protect without thinking about them. The boundary simply appears when the window opens.

Ask before starting

You receive a notification before the window opens, and the Aura starts only when you confirm. This works best when you want to remain in control of each session, or when your schedule varies day to day.

What happens when a schedule fires

  • AuraLock reminds you that your Aura starts soon
  • At the scheduled time, the Aura is ready — tap Enter Aura
  • Need more time? Snooze gives you a short reprieve
  • Wrong moment entirely? Skip today — tomorrow starts again

Missed the window?

If you missed the scheduled start, AuraLock shows a reminder that your Aura did not begin, with options to start now, reschedule, or skip. One missed morning is a blip, not a broken habit.

Recurring schedules

Schedules repeat weekly on the days you select. You can have different Auras scheduled for different times: Deep Work on weekday mornings, an Evening Wind-Down every night, and a weekend Aura for personal time. Each schedule is independent, so you build a full weekly rhythm.

Building a reliable rhythm

  • Start small — one recurring schedule at the same time is enough to establish a habit
  • Anchor to existing routines — schedule Deep Work right after your morning coffee, or wind-down before bed
  • Use confirmation for new habits — keep control while you figure out what works
  • Be forgiving — snooze and skip exist so a rough day does not end the habit

Edit or delete schedules

Open the Aura with the schedule, tap the schedule settings, then edit the times, days, or remove it entirely. Changes apply from the next scheduled window.

Reliability note

Scheduled Auras rely on AuraLock running in the background. Run Guardian and configure battery optimization so schedules fire on time, every time.
